Hi,
So finally my lovely bird gets on my finger and isnt afraid anymore. But sometimes when he doesnt wanna be picked up he will tend to gently bite me, i guess its his way of saying "leave me alone now".

He does sleep ALOT lately, i dont know why. and is kinda puffy most of the time, but he eats and drinks and doesnt look sick. Is that normal?

the 2nd thing. Recently i have noticed that my bird will get in this strange pose once or twice a day. He will kinda tilt his head forward close to the ground and kinda lift his tail up and make squeaking sounds for about 5 minutes and than go back to normal again. What the hell is that? their mating habit or what lool

Thanks guys

Hey, I have a cockatiel as well. If she doesn't want to be picked up, she will gently bite. It's her way of saying, "Leave me alone, I don't want to be bothered right now.

Well, my tiel sleeps a lot too, but it depends on how long they sleep. How long is he sleeping during the day? If it seems like a lot, then something might be wrong.

Let me tell you, my tiel gets in the craziest positions and poses throughout the day. It gets weird sometimes, lol. One time, she slept almost upside down. So yeah, I'll say that's pretty "normal" habit for a cockatiel. Keeping themselves entertained.

Hope that helps.

looooool thats funny. Well when mine gets into that funny pose , you could pick her up or try to scare her, and she wont even move :)
well she only sleeps when no one is around her mostly, its her being puffy most of the time is what worries me
