So I've heard that cockatiels are loud however My birds rarely if ever make a sound. The only times they are "loud" is if they are ringing a bell, something scares them or someone new enters the room and even then they are only making noise for a couple minutes at most. They don't chirp to each other when one is out of the cage and the other isnt. Otherwise they eat their pellets just fine no problems there and Halloween I have no problem getting her out of the cage. I am working with Hallows eve still but am seeing some progress there.
). Mine is fairly quiet and same as yours, she only makes noise when she is hungry or excited/alarmed. She has been louder lately, but I think her chirps are just a poor attempt at having a screaming match with my Ekkie lol.
