I started to take Skippah into the bathroom for showers, now he seems to want to be in every room I am in. He doesnt seem to want to get there under his own steam. He just screams till I come and collect him off his perch and take him to what ever room were in. Its a One day old habit and I plan on breaking it real quick.
Seems to me Skippah slips into routine very quickly. I can maybe use this to my advantage. he also seems to be taking advantage of his unclipped wing. He has become insistant on sitting on the pelmet in the lounge. i can see this as becoming a nice high vantage point to poo upon us from, so if I cant dissuade him from going up there, I will consider clipping his wing again. Wont be my 1st option though. He seems to get a kick out marching up and down along the pelmet. There is nothing to see, but he likes marching in one direction in 6 long slow steps, only to turn at the end of the pelmet and skurry back the the other end like he saw a mouse, then turn and march back in big slow steps,.... then turn and skurry back. I could sit and watch him doing it all day. (I have done) He actually seems like he is having fun, but I dont see the game. I worry that repetitive bahaviour may not be good for him, but I dont see the harm yet. He is much more social since we banned the cage, but much more demanding also. Demands more attention, more often. Thats not a bad thing,..yet.
