Crocheting with Chili (LOL-pics)

So there I was- minding my own business, crocheting away when lil miss fluff n stuff comes over and snatches my crochet hook.


I even had this toy next to me to distract her from doing just that.


She wouldn't give it up.


Ok, so back to crocheting... But now I have a new problem- apparently Chili likes bags...

I couldn't believe my eyes when she crawled into the bag and then turned upside down!! I was thinking "what the heck?!" and then she kept getting sillier and sillier, and kept doing it over and over lol she ended up inadvertently doing a few somersaults...I was laughing so hard! I've seen her do some crazy stuff on the boing before- like hanging upside down and using her wings to actually hold a toy while she chewed on it. 😳

He looks like he's having a great time rolling in the dirt!!! Chili has a pan of sand she trudges and picks through, but I haven't seen her roll in it...yet...lol

They are pretty crazy lol!

Not really, Rosie is very mellow, and a perch potatoe. Occasionally she'll spread her wings and squawk while holding the side of the cage with one foot while the other is holding a perch. She also fans out her tail, raises her crest, and dances when she's very happy. When I adopted Rosie she had learned hopelessness, and didn't even acknowledge toys, she's come a very long way in these few years

Love it!! I love when they roll around and play. The fact that she is trying to crochet and i can't even do it is also a testament to her intelligence, LOL!!!

Oh poor Rosie it's so sad to see them lose hope like that and become bird-zombies. She's so lucky to have you though! I bet she loves life these days

She's a spoiled rotten little snuggle monster!!!! Lol

Ohmygoodness- comparing her with Jackie is like night and day lol Jackie was a perch potato who just wanted to hang out and eat...and be loud...and he wasn't really interested in toys, but he was coming out of his shell and sort of played a little. He had his silly moments every now and then, but mainly just hung out. He loved to just sit on my shoulder and go everywhere with me.

Chili, on the other hand is a super busy busy-body who can't stop exploring, tasting, and chewing everything she can get her beak on. She loves her toys, loves eating my food, and loves her snuggles. She has her crazy moments -sitting on her window perch and yelling and doing her wing displays at the wild birds outside lol hanging upside down on the boing wrestling with a toy, sliding down the baby gate bars like a firefighter so she can go play on the floor.
