Ok so Sophie is feeling better and i thought i would let her and Tyrion play near eachother, so they could start to get used to eachother. They have seen eachother on the same room now for a little bit and have no reaction at all.... They just talk back and forth. So he has his cage and a playstand and i moved to the playstand out alittle and let him out and i placed SOphie on the playstand. I gave them each a ton of toys. He came out and started playing with his and she took hers and whipped them on the floor and went for his ! I told her no and picked hers up and gave them back to her. Placed her back on the playstand and she dumped them out again and ran for his. This time she grabed his butt ! So Sophie is a bully ! I never thought she would be the bully, but she is. So i told her no again and removed her from the fun. I dont know where to go from here ? any of you have another option ?

Birds are like that, what the other one have is always better then what they have. Or basically jealousy and not wanting the other one to have anything. I don't think right now is a good time to introduce them since Sophie just had her surgery. Did you see my reply on your other post? I replied about visual sexing of Sophie.

Forget about other birds, anything we have is better then what they have too!!! Did she just want to steal toys? That's not too horrible, was there loud fussing and any beak dueling? That is where my worry always is... we have a wide array of bird beak sizes and my biggest worry is someone losing a beak.

Our birds don't care to interact cross species, when everyone is out, there are cliques... cockatiels in one area, the green cheeks on the hanging boing toy... and they all chase poor Loki if he ventures near anyone (sun baby). And of course, Ivory being the largest species in the home thinks everyone is going to eat her if they come near her. But I joke she is just a beautiful white chicken...
