An update on The Cockatoo Man..

.. I just got back from visiting TJ < the woman who adopted The Little Beady-Eyed Monster> at my local Mukie-Mart.

She says he is doing super! The whole family loves the heck out of him and it seems he has developed a special bond with her hubby! Jonesy readily goes to hubby and son. but she says her husband can handle him real good. Jonesy loves his scrithches and plays with him constantly..Chases after a small plastic-type wiffle ball and brings it back to him!!
Her son can handle Bonesy also,climbing up his arm to shoulder and yoinking on his hair lol. TJ is still "afraid" he'll bite her so she stays away.
I asked about "out' time and he gets plenty of it she says..soon as his house door is open,out he comes <did that with me also> Says he gets on his roof top and does his 'too bobing/hopping up and down..does his "this way and that way" with his head,turning fast left/right/left again.

I asked if he's talking..she says Ohhhh Ya..hello..night-night,even says " I'm a GOOOOOOD cockatoo man, like he did with us..Then I asked, " does he SWEAR"??? she lowered her head and quietly said "yesssss"
LMAO! I told her I SAID HE DOES!! He eats well,they are muslem/indian decent,so he is eating all sorts of different type of food and loves everything.

So this visit made me smile,knowing Jonesy is doing well and he is making a whole family very happy..kudo's to you Jones.

Fantastic Jim!!!! Glad he has a great life. You tried, harder than most, but for unknown reasons it wasn't the perfect match. Thanks for the update.... I have a soft spot for Goffins.
