Is there anything in your lease agreement that specifies a pet noise policy? Or is it a state/county thing?

I am so sorry! I hope you can work something out so you can keep him, and not have to move.

Where do you live (state/county) I'm having a mostly lazy day today anyway, I'd be happy to do a little research in to the local animal related policies, see if your landlord has any actual basis for taking action.

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Very sorry to hear this. One of the more difficult aspects to parrot ownership is managing the noise.

Might there be a way to negotiate a truce to attempt noise reduction? If the noise is objectionable during the morning and at night, perhaps a cage cover would help?

If the decision is final, it will be a tough decision whether to move or re-home. Hopefully there are other places to move where they are more tolerant of birds.

Judging by the agency, I assume you are in Canada, the U.K or Australia??

Sorry to hear you may have to move or rehome Jasper:( Renting with a quieter parrot is difficult enough (we were renters with Kiwi for years until recently), I can only imagine renting with a louder individual. I really hope for your sake and Jasper's something can be worked out!
