I went on a picture taking spree today. It was pretty funny because when I took a picture of one bird, the other 2 were jealous! Rowdy actually let me take some without attacking the camera, although not outside of her cage.

Some were blurry, but I got a couple of good ones of each of them. Here is Merlin shortly after her bath.

I couldn't do it when I was using Firefox at all even though I could on other forums. Then Firefox crashed completely on me and I switched to Google Chrome and could suddenly post pics.

If you scroll down under your post you will see a box that says "manage attachments". Click on that and then a box will pop up that allows you to choose a file from your hard drive. Choose the file and then click on upload. Wait for it to upload and then click on submit under your thread and it should show your post with the pictures.

May as well put Rowdy here, too. She took 2 baths today so she has been wet half the day now, lol!

your birds seem so happy

how big is a Nanday Conure to a green cheek?

GCCs weigh about 65g and Rowdy weighs 139g for a comparison. She is about the size of a Sun, but perhaps a bit heavier.

luvmytoo, Greys are very cute!

Oh , dont I know it , lolol. I love looking at everybody's pictures of their grays :) We almost ended up with a re home , but in the end the girl was able to keep him , so it worked out for the best.

The only other time I had a close encounter with a grey was when I was young , that grey was not friendly , and I think that stuck in my mind ever since. But that has all changed now since joining this forum :)
Thanks for the pictures Roxy :)

Pretty girl, for about a second I was wishing my new baby would hurry and grow up! I heard lots of greys don't like baths, does yours just splash around in a bowl, or do you have to mist her?

I wish my new adopted Grey was fully feathered... I guess with proper care and diet he will eventually smooth back out...

Well, I can tell you Merlin only wants to take a bath about every 3 weeks. I know when she wants one because she will try to get into her water bowl. She hates being sprayed or misted though.

Beemer, Merlin also has a plucked area on her belly. They are growing back now, but you can still see it somewhat. She got upset in her former home when her owners started traveling a lot. I'm hoping she lets them all grow back now.

I swear I think Greys actually smile when you take their picture, lol! Merlin seems to, and Antoinette's Mishka definitely does!
