Remember we are not normal LoL.
May I make a suggestion, the recording you made for Rosie Alexandra, the one with hello, make another one saying hello love you. Play it for her as you did previously, continuously and you will be amazed I PROMISE YOU.
Perhaps one day, we will have Rosie Alexandra and Mishka chatting away on Skype LOL

SB...Congratulations! And might I say...that is another beautiful picture of Rosie. Either you take really good pics or she is very photogenic...or maybe both. The one you had 2 before this one is my favorite so far I think.

Thank you very much Thumbala for comments about photos. I do love to take them of my critters. Rosie A. has learned to pose. I took these so everyone could see our big snow storm.
Antionette - I will make another recording with your suggestion. Rosie has not said anything since that time.

SB maybe she is having a few days off.
We as humans also have quiet days.
Don't lose hope, Rosie Alexandra has progressed, even saying hello is one step forward.
Your patience, love and dedication will go a long way.
Carry on with the recordings, keep talking and talking, repeating it all the time.

Learned to pose? That is awsome! I try to take a pic of Tumbala and he either disappears down my shirt or he trys attacking my camera. I have a funny video on my phone of him very close up and attacking my phone! Silly Bird. Wish I could get him to pose!

Awesome pic SB!!!! Beautiful! My friend has a CAG that is about 8 years old, sweet, sweet bird and has never uttered a word. Go figure.
We are guessing she just doesn't have anything to say. lol. :green1:

Hey Riley's Mom: How are you? My Rosie Alenandra has not said anything since that time but I do understand it can be a start when they say one word. I will not give up yet and label her a non talker. Yes CAG's are just so sweet. She loves to cuddle still and wants tickles all the time. Even when we are working on tricks she wants tickles (most likely as a distraction from the training). Hi SB! Had to come home at lunch and pick up puppies and thought I check the forum before I go back. I forgot to mention, one of my CAG is only 6 months old. Not talking yet, but makes some very familiar noises and whistles. Now, both greys have picked up the puppy whine. I really hope they forget that noise once the puppies are weaned and into their forever homes. Back you work, talk with you soon. :green1:

In a way it must be a good thing to have other birds around for the young ones to learn from. Rosie Alexandra is an only child except for a kitty. Looking at your list you must have several birds. How does that work for you?

Hi SB! Any new words yet???? With all of my guys, it does get kind of loud around my house at certain times of the day. But for the most part, it's great and I really have a great time with all of them. The one problem I do have is when I get on the phone, Riley, my miliary macaws and the love of my life, feels the need to be offended that he is not the center of attention at that moment and will scream and tell me to "hang up, hang up". Needless to say, I go out on the porch to talk on the phone, and with this unusually cold weather we are having right now, it's not fun. I broke down and sat in the car to talk with justwingingit this morning. LOL
