I have a female Congo, she is only 16 weeks old. She is so loving and I can do almost anything to her however she doesn't seem to like men anymore? When I picked her up she was fine with my dad and partner but now if a male goes toward her she attacks them whereas a female she will let stroke her and hold her?? Is there anything I can do to resolve this?
Atm I am blowing really gently in her face then after three times she gets put in her cage?? is there anything I can do to stop this? As I think it's really important my partner can hold her as two days a week I work 14 hour days so he really needs to be able to take her out etc.

Have you tried stick training her??? Let the men in the family be the ones that feed her and give her treats, not you! So she would tolerate them at least.

A pair of cockatiels
And pair of African Greys
I've read this book called "Pickles the parrot". They gad the same problem. So they made the husband the mane caregiver for 3 weeks or so until the parrot tolerated him. And it worked for them.
My female CAG also doesn't like my husband at all...
