Yesterday all the birds were being unusually loud in the afternoon.
I brought out my stuffed budgie that repeats what ever it "hears". Bingo wants to tear it limb from limb but it does distract him.

But what Bella did was amazing, I wish I could have recorded it.
Bella was "playing" with the repeating parrot by making different noises and listening to it's repeating what she did. Mostly she did this with whistles of various pitch some rising in pitch and some descending in pitch. She would make each sound and wait for the bird to repeat the noise. She did some talking but the stuffed budgie was too far away and her speech was not as loud as her whistle.
It's really hard to describe what she was doing but it was clear she understood that the noise coming from the bird was a repeat of the noise she would make.

Bella is really turning into a different bird since puberty hit her over the head.
She is a much more curious than she was before. Whenever she is shoulder surfing anything you pick up must be held at arms length because she wants to get her beak on everything. I have to use extreme caution when handling the Cheetos bag. for some reason she gets very upset when I pick up that bag.
Some of the latest Bella sayings.

Sick Bird. (with the virus conversation around the house not surprising she learned sick)
Bella, it's for you.
Bella, you have to go back sorry. (one of her longest phrases).
I love you sweet bird.
Pretty bird Wes (ok Ill take that).

Its always a joy to get an update on the gang. It continues to amaze what grabs their interest and what they respond too.

The joy never stops!

Sorry that a I missed this Thread earlier...

Maybe Bella thought the Cheetos were Dangerously cheesy.

It all ties back to so many things possibly being radioactive and that all gitocounters being so very large that for them, they are not portable. Life would be simpler if gitocounters where smaller... Or, the cheese powder is just to sticky and messy...

Perjo - Female CAG hatch Nov 2015
Since turning 3 Perjo has changed and now that she is 4 it’s like where did my baby CAG go?
Sounds like Bella might have thought she was teaching the Budgie?
