I found what looks like a good deal on marketplace for a used cage.
Never seen one that was a convertible, can be play top or dome top.
Anyone have experience with this type cage?

The real problem/issue is how to get Bella to accept it.
she is notorious for not liking NEW.
Her cage is in poor shape and one leg is held together with what amounts to bailing wire.

It might be easier to give new cage to Bingo my YNA (whom is ok with new) and let Bella have Bingo’s cage.
note.
all 3 cages are same size in width and depth, height may vary some.

I cant for the life of me see what is holding that top "dome" up off the top of the cage!

Sounds like Bingo is getting a new cage!

well the add in marketplace had a video but.
in the photo the play top is “installed “ on the cage and the dome in just kind of resting on top.
to properly install dome play top is removed and dome installed in its place.

It wasn’t right for my needs.

the dome portion of cage had rust.
I might have been able to ignore that (wasn’t planning on using it).
But there was no way to take it apart.
I guess it must have been manufactured in the US cuz every thing from China need to be assembled, their not go a ship fully put together cages across the Pacific Ocean.

this thing was welded on all corners.
great for sturdiness and longevity, not so good to allow for transport (like to Oregon).
