Amusing. Petco puts out a coupon and then refuses to honor it...

Still, the chain hasn't adapted to the 21st century yet. Perhaps the chain can find a way to prevent "abuse", if there was any... no disclaimer has anything to say about it... especially as "void if copied" can't easily be held up under the circumstances, and others regarding web-based coupons... somebody was asleep at the wheel, or maybe nobody was at the wheel because it would have cost Petco too much money to hire someone to dot the i's and cross the t's and all that... all they did was go 'sh'...

It's technically Petco's loss, but all Petco will do at this point is to not move forward with their gaffe but ramp up prices for everybody, because it will have no concept of responsibility - like how all of us are supposed to have. I mean, if we have to take the lumps and be responsible, it's highly unethical for a company not to... otherwise, why should we be if we see they don't and get double standards?

On the plus side, prices will likely go up by only a nickel or dime, since how much they sell can be made up quickly... but it's just another example of how we're nickeled and dimed...
