Jacob a sun conure who found me!
Ok so me again, sorry for blowing up the forum..

What would the best foraging toys for him be? I really want him to interact with toys more to ensure enrichment and not dependent on me.

Here is a couple of pictures:

This is 20 minutes after meeting my bf..

sitting on my head..

Here's a video, Im trying to get him to say.. Today he said a new word, he will say Hello, and today a new sound came out. I worked on dechifer it and when I said Jacob he started happy dancing.. Let me know what you guys think.. It is during the last ten seconds, you can fast forward so you dont hear my stupid blabbing!!

What a cutie! I couldnt tell what he was saying, but he was trying to regurgitate on you. This is when his head and neck start bobbing. This is a sign of affection but can be a breeding behavior. When my bird does it, I just distract him and ignore it so it isn't reinforced. Its always exciting when a bird starts talking, your lucky you got one that talks :). They tend to repeat exciting words or words associated with actions if that helps. Good luck!

I can't see the video, but in the pics he is beautiful. Maybe his name is Jacob. Like I said in my previous post all my parrots do the head bobbing when excited or happy without any regurgitation so we clap and tell them to do the happy dance which they do when we tell them to. and they get all excited but not in a sexual way, just a happy way:)
