My baby is growing!

I haven't been on this week as we are away on holidays, but I just had to share this photo I received from my breeder yesterday! These yellow sided GGC babies are now 3 1/2 weeks old and one of the little boys will be mine in a few weeks! You can see that some green feathers are starting to come through now! The breeder is fantastic, sending me updated photos every week and also asked if I would like to bring my kids to see the birds in person, so next week we will get to visit them yay!

I took the kids to see the birds today. My eldest daughter (who is 8) wanted to take one home today but I've had enough of 2 am feeds with the kids so she'll just have to wait a few more weeks!

The sad news is that only one of the birds is a yellow sided and because we want a male we'll have to wait for the DNA results to see if we end up with a yellow sided, a normal or a pineapple. For some reason I'm more attracted to the birds with darker beaks and only his normals have dark beaks, but I also love colour so we'll just wait to see them again in a few weeks! They are about 4 1/2 weeks old now. We fell in love with all of them!
