My conure's name is Herbie. I brought her as a male. Last night she laid an egg. Had taken her to vet about 5 days ago because acting strangely and I though she had contracted cold me & my husband had. She is trying to lay another egg - I can see it formed inside her but not the actual egg. I am worried because she has been so stressed out and now I know why. Worried she might be egg bound. What signs should I look for that she's in trouble, how long after 1st egg should second one come out, when will I know when she's done? She is eating and drinking, did take egg because she laid it when she was laying down with me in my bed in her blanket, should I give back to her. I am still in shock from all of this. I love my bird, just want to make sure I don't put her in harms way.
