Change cage around when cleaning or leave the same?

Today marks one week with Mango! I need to clean up her cage and was wondering if you generally put things back in the same place or if it's ok to move stuff around.

Since she's just getting used to her new surroundings I don't want to distress her too much but, Ive discovered some things just aren't working in the spots they are in..

Also, I don't have a ton of perches yet. Some are wooden, and I'm guessing they should be dry before I put them back?

Uh Oh! Looks like Percy got in on the wrong thread:D

Now about miss Mango:)-
I personally do not change the general position of the perches in Kiwi's cage unless theres a reason (like one broke or something). However, I think it took about a million tries when the cage was new to get everything in the right position:p I do switch out all the toys on at least twice a week. As for freshly watched perches- I wouldn't put soaking wet perches back in, but if they're a little damp still, that's fine. Good luck with Mango! We would love to see some pics of her and her cage once it's all set up :)

You were right April! :) Percy sneaks in anywhere but I've sorted him out ;)

I also don't mess with perch placement but I change toys every time a clean and sometimes between washes too.

Edit to add - Since Mango is still settling in and its only been a week, I would keep everything the same...maybe change out one toy that she hasn't shown interest in. There will be plenty of time to shake things up when she's settled and comfy in her new home :)

Thanks! And so far Mango hasn't shown interest in any toys :( I'm hoping that's just part of settling in.
