I have always been the most favorite person in Foo's life and she has never been mad at me.
Not paying attention I was cleaning up messes and didn't realize that the teddy bear on the floor belonged to Foo. (Zeki stole it and dropped it in the middle of the living room) So I just set it in with the other stuffed toys that I trade off with Foo.
She doesn't usually do much flying and would rather walk and climb. She also loves to be in the same room with me, so I put her on her playgym in my room while I was surfing the net as norm and she flew out and back onto her cage. That is a first! Then she started screaming, which she also never does. When I went to see what the commotion was about she started rattling her food bowls and saying eff you over and over again..which she usually saves that lovely statement for my husband. I left the room, figuring she would get over it.
So my husband comes home and I do the normal routine of putting the birds in the cage so he can bring stuff in and we don't worry about anyone accidentally flying out of the house. Normally this is a breeze. Foo bit the holey heck out of me! I gave her a firm No and told her Up. This works usually with anyone in the house, even if she is mad at them. She stepped up and then just lit me up and actually drew blood! So I put her in her cage and shut the door.
I tell my husband what happened and he looks over there and then opens the cage and gives her scritches and all seems good. As soon as I go over it's back to yelling and lunging. He notices that her teddy is missing.
This is HER toy..she cleans him and kisses him..and does naughty things sometimes to him. No one is supposed to touch him.
I put it back in it's sacred place on top of her playtop and apologize for my oppsie. I went and got a piece of popcorn..which is usually t he best food in the world. She tore it from my hand and held in her little foot while screaming at me still!
It took hours to get her to go to bed, she was screaming at me from her cage and banging stuff around. Though if my daughter or husband came over she would say sweet things and get scritches from them. Me? totally on the poo list.
Hoping tomorrow she forgives me. I've never seen her so dang mad and I hate going to bed angry.
