I have a number of plum head mutations now..
I have opaline, Cinnamon, gg, dilute, lutino and normal
3 Pair cockatiel (pieds)
Pair blossom headed (look Very similar to plum head but not
hello iv just got a pair of green cheek conure
both are dna, but i was told the female is only 11 months, male is 2 years old and hand friendly, they have been togther for 4 months, they sleep in the nest box at night.. so hopfully in time they may breed..:green:

Since the female isn't even 2 years old yet, I would not encourage any breeding by providing a nest box to the pair... the hen may not be physically or emotionally ready for breeding.

Agreed. Your hen is not old enough. Please remove the box. Please research proper breeding diet, housing, hand feeding, weaning, socializing, how to detect problems in the nest, etc, in the mean time.

yeai will do so, thanks guys, I don't put nest box in there for them to breed, we are currently have Freezing temperature... I'm abit worryed them them, so I put up the box.. Just to help keep them warn...

Any way to provide additional heating via a heat panel? Or a bird safe heater?

iv remove to nest box.... Hopefully in a year time, they may breed, I would like a handrared conure
