Hello all
I have an almost 5 month old GCC, Cosmo, and I've been having the hardest time keeping her sleep schedule consistent. I'm worried it may have negative consequences in the future and I was wondering what experienced owners might suggest.
I live in a college dorm like setting. It's an apartment, but everything is primarily in one room, so my desk, my bed, and Cosmo's cage are all in very close proximity to each other. I stay up late really often (I typically go to bed at 1 or 2 AM) and even if I cover her cage, she usually doesn't go to bed until I do. She has opportunities to sleep while I'm at class, but I'm not entirely sure that's healthy.
I try to put her to bed at no later than 12, and I very well may be worrying over nothing, but she doesn't seem to get enough sleep. Is there something else I should try or should I not worry?
