Conure mimics screams

Hi, so I am new to the boards and I am in need of advice for my new conure. I recently purchased a 10 week old (now 16week) female half moon conure. She is a ball of personality and a very impressive talker. We have had for about 6 weeks now. My need for advice comes from the fact that she was raised in a home that bred a lot of caiques and she seems to have learned how to mimic their screeching. Is there a way to unteach something she’s learned to do? Or to teach her to do it much much less?
I am aware that conures screech or squawk, even the quietest. I am not bothered by that but the amount of screaming she does it a bit excessive and she gets louder if you attempt to have a conversation in the same room, even if you talk in low voices.
So, any advice is more than welcome!! Thank you all. :yellow2:

Hi!

Well, in general... ignore what you don't want and reward (pay attention, give treats, etc.) that which you do want...

Parrots are ALL ABOUT your attention!

And for whatever results... try to love your bird for the wild creature it is. I've certainly had that struggle with my avian airhorn!

Good for you, for reaching out, and good luck.
