Making toys: cheap, very cheap or free!

Hi there everyone!

For starting this, i ve to comment im from Spain, so id like you to be "patient" with my ortography. Even if i try my best, im sure you´ll understand is not that easy for me to write "perfectly" in another language, wich is not my main.

I found some new friends in places like Venezuela, Argentina, and Spain, then i tougth it was the time to stread my "work" in other places like yours, so i hope i ll get some nice answers!

I come here in the name of the Blog: La Madriguera del Gatopornis (something like "The Birdcat´s Den).
For some years, we've recolected and posted in this blog all kind of HANDMADE TOYS FOR PARROTS. Our work consists to create parrot toys and make an easy and clear tutorial for you all to reproduce it at home. We also are searching toys, at forums, pet shops, webs, etc, to collect them and add them to our blog (we always resign the original creator of the toy, of course). Our main idea is about creating the "Parrot Toys Bible", wich would help everyone who doesnt know how to make nice toys instead buy them.

The motto of La Madriguera del Gatopornis is: Cheap, very cheap, or free! , wich means we ve not to spend so much money to make our parrot friends happy.
Id like you to take a look of the page, even when the instructions are in Spanish (we re working the idea of translate it to english soon), the pictures make it so clear you can understand hese tutorials easy.

Hi there everyone!

I just started today with translating tutorials. I know i ve a hard work to do but i hope it worths.
So well, let me explain.

1. My plain is to translate tutorials from the older to the newer, in that order.
2. I will rewrite all in the same original post (wont create a new post). Under the spanish text, you can find the english text in orange and cursive.
3. I try my best but obviously i ve not a perfect english grammar, so i beg for your patience, and SPECIALLY id like you to correct me if you find something wrong, a word, an expression, etc.

For the first English tutorial toy I would suggest to take the cap from the end of the plastic perch you cut and place it on the cut end of the toy.

Sure if we make these toys means definitely it will creates new theme for playing.

Love the idea for the pinecone treat.
That translated well until the mix you used in the flour water.
Can I use any seed and nut in this mix?
Also, How would you go about cleaning a pinecone? Do you need to remove all the seeds? I have an idea what I might do but never tried or know how safe it'd be.

The pine nuts are good for them, and most will love them.

To sterilize the pine cones, place them on a tray and bake them at 225*F for 20 minutes, let cool and serve!
