- I have a beautiful 4 year old brown throated conure named Charlie. Just bought him on April 18 2015
I decided to make Charlie a play stand so he has other places to be besides the top of his cage when he's out. So this week I stopped at the dollar tree bought some things for making toys and ordered a plastic shelf online from walmart for 14 bucks. I started making it last night and so far I have the first shelf done and started on the second one. I'm also making holes in the sides of the post so I can add a few perches. I also made all his toys except for the wood and rope ones. I feel so proud of myself for putting in so much time and love with my birdie but I kinda feel like a nerd for making all this stuff haha here are some pics. (charlie so far is scared of the play stand so I had to get him on his seed jar and stick him on there lol right now he's using his millet holder):09:
