Whenever I am holding Roxy, she climbs onto my shirt and goes straight for my collar. She loves to just put her head right down my shirt! Is this a hormonal thing? She will also grab onto my collar and just sit there holding it in her beak.

Hmm, how old is Roxy?

Nalani loves my sweaters and glasses. Not only does she find it her mission to destroy them, she loves to crawl into my sweater and gets upset when I try to take her out. I know it isn't hormonal behaviors because she is still pretty young at only 7 months old. But still, I try to prevent her as much as possible from going into my sweater. I don't want to encourage the behavior, so I smother her with kisses and distract her in other ways. :p

Sounds like nesting behavior. Ekkies roost in tree trunks. Mine loves to climb into my cedar cabinets and look into my washer.

She will be 5 in June. It could very well be nesting behavior. I just thought it was weird that she would be looking for a nest inside the shirt that I am wearing!
