Hello again,

Tonight I had my parrot Jack laying on my chest as I usually do before putting him to bed. But tonight was a little different....
I started rubbing the back of his neck up and down and he liked it so much that he laid flat out on me with his head down flat against my chest and buried in my chest , eyes shut. Has anybody had their bird lay like this ??
I called my husband over as I had never seen a bird sit or lay this way ever and it seems really weird to me but SOOOO cute hahahaha.
Hubby said maybe because he has never been around another bird before he doesnt know any better. Maybe he has been watching our cat do similar ??? Also tonight before he did this , our cat jumped up to sit on my knees. At that point Jack almost went to run after the cat, god knows what for , to play hahaha ?? I actually had to hold him down. We dont ever let them get too close to each other and they are always supervised, Im positive Jack doesnt know what a cat is. never seen a bird want to go after a cat before lol. Maybe Jack thinks he is a cat ? lolol
Love Jack to bits !!!

Hi Robyn, I don't know if that is normal but it sounds like the cutest thing ever! Sorry I have no feedback on this one but had to let you know how adorable it sounds. The closest thing my Grey does is purrs when he is on my chest when we lay down but he doesn't lay down like a cat, sounds like yours is imitating your cat. Cute!
