Okay, it wasn't really for HIM but he accompanied me.

I wanted to bring him to work but I had my appointment immediately before so I asked my therapist if it would be alright if I brought him and she was on board.

We were playing yatzee (we tend to do something while we talk, just makes it easier for me) and with every roll he would just go "woo!!" and it was super cute having my own cheerleader. He really loved it, just stood in his carrier and watched us. My therapist also really loved him.

Just a fun thing I thought I would share.

Cairo the Ekkie!
They're amazing, aren't they? I swear Cairo calms me down when I'm in stressful situations (unless of course he's the cause of it).

I'm glad your therapist was open to him. Did she say if he might be beneficial for future sessions?

Not really necessary, usually I have my psychiatric service dog but the shop isn't a very good environment for her so I leave her at home for work. So since I was going to work immediately after, I didn't bring her.

Now THAT'S a real therapy-bird.
The Rbird's talents are better suited to being a torture-bird, but the Geneva Convention forbids that sort of thing.
Congratulations!

If you didn't make the RB sound so entertaining, I might think he was really as bad as you make out.

That's great! And good on your therapist for being okay with Lincoln sitting in! How was he at work?

He's good at work, he usually is. He's happiest just being able to chill out on my shoulder while I work. Beak grinding galore.

Neato, hope he can tag along again. I have to think it can't hurt having a buddy and cheerleader with you!
