I thought that its high time I weighed Rosie - ok, sorry.....should of been doing that already :54: I just have one problem....I tried to weigh her on my friend's cooking scale but SURPRISE SURPRISE....she just will not stand still. No matter how much I tried to calm her down she just keeps running around on the scale  How do you keep a bird still?? Lol!

Hi Jess, you can either buy a bird gram scale with a T perch built into it, or you can continue to use your friends scale and maybe either buy or construct your own perch as in the picture below, just weigh it before placing the bird on it and just subtract that weight from the total you get after placing the bird on.....hope that helps :)

Jess I DON'T know how you are going to weigh Rosie May
My little niece, can't sit still for one second.
I think you should post a vid in this section showing members that Rosie May is a overcharged Duracell battery 24/7.

Bobby I loved the picture above, is that one of your birds?
Rosie May, will have to be anesthetized to sit like that for 5 seconds.

Show Rosie May, the video below of her cousin Mishka being weight......

Lol - I should of got the whole thing on video - it was hilarious...here I am trying to keep Rosie still knowing she will bite me if I try and place my hand near her and all she wants to do is get off the scale to chew the sides - hahaha!!!! The T-stand sounds like a great idea.

Thanks for the vid - Rosie's cousin is so well behaved - honestly, guess there is always a rebel in every family ;) Will get cracking with that...I still do not know how much she ways - the poor scale didnt know what was going on...everytime she ran to one side it would rapidly change weight.

I JUST LOVE MY BIRD!!!! My lil ADD baby :)
