Hello, im Mr101... I've been breading parrots for 11/1-2 years... So, ive breed macaws, parakeets, parrots, cockatiels, conures, canarys, finchs, and cockatoos...

So, i've never had a quaker, butt i just got one, and im consurned....

He has this thing from his feathers to his beak, is it possible for it to be a mole? and if so, does it need to be cut off?

I would definitly take him in to your avian vet if your concerned that certainly doesn't look normal amd Welcome to the forums be sure to post pics of all your parrots!

We are all bird lovers here, and by no means Vets, I would find the money from somewhere and take him to your Avian Vet, Can't see it clearly from the picture but yes it does look like something that you need to get a vets advise on.

I have moved this over to the health section for you.

last monday I spent 250 at the vet on my 100 dollar cockatiel I didn't really have the money either but I was glad I took her she's doing much better All I'm saying is that's part of being a bird owner or any other pet for that matter

but he acts normal....Grate, i dont have money,,,

Well I don't think it would be a good idea to breed your birds if you didn't ahve any money. If you had to take any of the chicks to the vet, that would be much more money.

Well, I would try to find a way to get more money. because by the picture, it does look abnormal. And the poor guy has to live with it until some action is taken.

Most birds act normal when they are ill and by the time you start to see them not "acting normal" it could be too late. Please for his sake take him to the vet, it may be nothing to worry about, but there again it could be something very easily sorted out.
