Regurgitating liquid on toys

Hoping to get some help. Not sure if I should be alarmed or if this is normal. My conure has always regurgitated chunky, mushy consistency on his toys or myself. Twice in the past 4 days I've noticed he regurgitated on the same foot toy (which is inside a large box) an all liquid consistency. About a quarter teaspoon. It has no odor, slightly thick with no other bits in it. He's bobbing his head up and down when he does this (not side to side).

He still regurgitates his normal mushy stuff on toys. If it's on that specific toy though, he's done the liquid regurgitation at least twice that I've noticed. He's acting normal otherwise, eating, playing, weight in within his normal range. Can regurgitation be clear, viscous liquid? Or is it always mushy / chunky?

Sunny a female B&G macaw;
Japie (m) & Appie (f), both are congo african grey;
All are rescues- had to leave their previous homes for 'reasons', are still in contact with them :)
Ehm...I think your bird has decided it has a baby-bird in an nest-box.

Normally birds give their young very easy to digest food - only when they are older the babies get 'chunks'
Chunks are reserved for grown-ups, in courtship or maybe being very very very nice.

Thank you both! That's a great relief. I didn't know they reserved the 'good stuff' for the baby birds. It makes sense now. This regurg is like slightly watered down honey syrup.

I took out the toy for now and he's stopped the behavior. I appreciate the help.
