:D Bucc loves his toothbrush,

I had read that letting them have a toothbrush was not good for them, I can't remember right now why, I'll have to go look see if I can find the article again.

He still has his beakbrush and loves it. :D

I hope they brush for at least 2 mins twice a day :D that is brilliant, I love the way Madison is actually on the sink :D

The other birds don't have the patience for it but Madison wants to copy every night time ritual of mine.
I wash my face with a cloth she wants me to wash hers with it. Yesterday she even wanted me to splash water on her face when I did it, which is crazy! She hates having water tossed at her! I have been trying to explain that it wouldn't be a good idea to exfoliate her skin with my little face sponge thingy but she insists so I even have to pat her face gently with that.
I dry my face, need to pat her face with the same towel or she gets very irritated... then we brush our beaks and rinse the toothbrushes in the sink. (she LOVES the part where she gets to throw the toothbrush in the sink)
It's all really cute and a really nice way to wind her down before bed. She's very excited about it, of course, but in a calmer way.. with whispering:)

About the toothbrushes, I just always watch mine with them, I don;t know for sure if they are unsafe so I figured saying be careful was the right thing to do. I thought maybe they could hurt themselves with the bristles, like maybe bite them off and since they are so tiny and thin they might get stuck in the beak and get swallowed. I don't know. I'm going to try to find a toy toothbrush for them. Or one of those infant gum brushes without the bristles.

Sarah, these pictures are absolutely priceless! Adorable! And, I love the story of your "night-time rituals" together. So sweet.

Sarah that is brilliant, :35: I'm still looking for that piece I read on the toothbrushes, but in the meantime, if its any help Bucc still has his. I just find it hard to see how they could be that bad if we use them, and they even have baby ones. I don't know I'll keep looking anyway.
