Mojo the magnificent Maximillian Pionus; Cecil the clowny Senegal; and, Timothy the shy, fearful Parrotlet
I will be replacing Cecil's rope perch today as it has become too frayed to safely trim/repair ... and since it was fresh on my mind, I thought to post a reminder to use parronts to keep an eye on our fiddies' rope/string toys/perches.

We nearly lost Sailor (our passed Parrotlet) to striangulation on a frayed string. Dan was in the right place at the right time and we got him cut out before he was able to hang himself.

We had to remove all rope perches toys etc cos we have 4 of our little guys who have deformed feet/nails. :( But yeah is so worth a reminder, these things can be deadly for our fids, and they can fray so quickly. Thanks for the reminder :D
