I have a huge Blueberry bush in my backyard starting to get ripe blueberries and have been giving them to the birds who LOVE them! :D I don't spray my bush with anything so they are all natural and safe for the birds. Heres some pics of some of my birds with the blueberries today and my bush. I also have blackberry bushes but nothing ripe yet on them.

Amazing pics! All my birds love blueberries so much, I wish I had a blueberry bush. Maybe I will have to get one.

We have 2 miniature blueberry bushes, but I don't foresee being able to get a single berry off of them because the wild birds (Robins & Grey Catbirds) are taking them off just as they are beginning to ripen. :54:

Luckily they're in season right now and pretty inexpensive in the farmer's market.

GORGEOUS pictures, Marcia!!!! :D

I LOVE blueberries and so does Gilbert. I smiled particularly at the photo of your blue crown eating the blueberry. "Hey that looks familiar."
The other day I forgot I had given him a couple blueberries and when I came back home a couple hours later, I thought he had cut his foot from all the staining. I was washing his foot, looking for the cut, and said 'hey wait a minute, I think that's blueberry juice'. hahaha

Those are gorgeous pics! Your fids look sooo happy munching away on those blueberry nom-noms :) thank you for sharing.

I have an enormous blackberry bush, burgeoning with yummies...didn't plant it, its just growing crazy wild, yet I have planted three blueberry bushes, had them for probably 5 years....not a single berry!!! The bushes have hardly grown any either...I may not have the right soil for it though. I wish I could grow blueberries like yours!!!
