Has anyone been using hemp seeds in there parrots food, one of my employees at work that has a sun conure for 16 years told me that his Avian vet recommended the use of the seeds, he told me that his parrot dose like it.

Kiwi loves them! They have a very healthy fatty acid ratio and are extremely nutritious for parrots and people, in moderation. They do not contain THC (the chemical that makes you high), so your bird will not become stoned after eating them, in case you may be concerned about that. Hemp oil and hemp seeds should not be heated BTW (i.e. not good to use for birdie bread or mash etc...), it undergoes changes when heat is applied voiding it's high level of nutrition and even arguably creating somewhat unhealthy compounds.
