My cockatoo was just out of the nest when he arrived at our home in December . He weighed 603g and has lost soooo much weight I am very scared of losing him. His weight ranges from 467g to 520g. He does not eat seed. Sometimes he will pick at soaked seed. Now he is eating baby bird formula and puree vegetables. I syringe his formula but he will eat the vegies from the spoon. I feed him a minimum of 4 times a day. I do include hemp hearts into both formula and vegies. I am desperate to get more weight on him and any help would be greatly appreciated. He has regular vet visits. Please can anyone help my poor boy.
