Need some help identifying my bird

Hi - can someone help me identify my lovie Kiwi?

I can't post a picture of her tonight, tomorrow I'll upload one to make things easier, but she's a small ring-eyed grassy green with brown eyes, orange red forehead and orange fading to yellow green on her neck. She has light brown cheeks. I can't find an example of another bird like her online. The closest is black-cheeked, but shes faded brown, not black.

Again, sorry for not posting a picture right away I know. Can anyone make a guess from the description? I know a little about mutations and species, but not much. Heaps of thanks for anyone with an idea - she's my little mystery!

Is it a peach faced lovebird? Id go on to wikipedia and search lovebird, there is a table at the bottom with genus names and pictures. Black cheeks though? Sounds like a pretty bird.

Hey, thanks for the input. I thought peach-faced lovies didn't have the white ring around the eyes though?

Anyway now that I look around a bit I think maybe she's a Fischer? Gah. I'm confused because the breeder promised she was a masked - which she definately isnt. That I could tell the moment I held her, but her cheeks were a muddy brown for a long time, with age it's a lot lighter. Not ever having Fischers maybe this is normal?

It's possible she is a hybrid. Peach faced and masked lovebirds can interbreed. Here is a picture of one (from google).

He is definitely a hybrid between a Peachfaced and a Masked or a Fischer. The muddy cheeks is the give-away. The hybrids between either of those two are rather difficult to tell apart though. As far as I can tell, the PFxBM hybrids on google look a little more washed out when they're older, but that may because they have a blue black masked parent. How old is your bird? and when he fans his tail, what are the colors there?

Here is a picture of my Paris who is a PFxFischer hybrid:



His belly used to be bright yellow with a sherbet orange chest and as he got older, it all turned into a sherbet orange. And the light horn part at the top of his beak under his nose used to be dark red. It's two-toned now with the bottom being a light orange. Also, his tail is a deep blue/slightly purple and transitions to bright flourescent blue towards the tip. He does have a slightly bigger eye ring than the PF but it isn't near as big as a Fischer

What ever it is, its a very pretty bird for sure.
