We have a mated pair of lovebirds, shes a little over a year and he's a little under. The have been actively mate . She laid her first egg April 20th , then the next one on April 27th , egg 3 on April 30th then another one today May 5th. I've read that she should lay about every other day . So what do you experts think . Are any of these going to hatch? Thanks for your help. Had another May 7th

Hi, I have 2 lovebird too. Normally lovebirds laying one egg in two days. If you have a couple lovebird, eggs come once in two days and they must be insteminated. Before I have two female lovebird Yosun&Yonca. They laying eggs everday or they laying eggs once in three days or once in 4 day. Later I have changed Yonca with Mercan ( male) . Now their eggs are insteminated. Are you sure about their sexuality ?

Welcome to the forum.....

I'm assuming this is her first clutch, she's probably just taking her time...hair err feather appointment, maybe a manicure, pedicure, possibly a massage & facial in the plans...it takes time for some girls to get ready for big occasions.....

Since lovies normally lay 4-8 eggs, you might have a few more yet to come.....

Allowing that this is her first clutch, it doesn't sound like she's having problems.....

Good luck.....
