Hello,
I've been searching for a specific kind of perch and so far unable to find it. So I thought I would post here to see what other people do.

I'm not comfortable with my scarlet macaw on my shoulder, she's never been up there and I value my ears if she ever looses her balance... My CAG is great on my shoulder...

I would like to be able to go to the park with my scarlet to walk around. I've seen the backpacks for parrots but they are insanely expensive.

Has anybody seen or know of a perch that can be worn over your shoulders on your front with a perch running across maybe about 6 or so inches our from your stomach at about belt level?

I thought maybe a perch like that would be ideal to have to be able to walk around. With the perch at about belt level the macaw would be directly in front of you.

Currently I transport her on my forearm with it across my stomach and she does great.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

How about you loop a belt through some PVC pipe and build a perch like that?

Does that make any sense? :54:

Here is an easy perch built out of PVC....just picture you take a leather belt, loop it through a piece of PVC, but use elbows and such to attach another perch to it.
