B&G Baby Bobby hatched 9/19/16

Hello everybody, I'm sorry I haven't been on for a while. I thought I would give you an update on Baby Bobby.
It turns out Bobby had a bacterial infection that initially caused him to lose his appetite. Good news after round of antibiotics Bobby is doing well I'm still not happy with his weight but the avian vet says he's healthy and he has been flying and turning into the little two-year-old I fully expected himto be...makes me very happy. 😃
After a lot of trial and error since, I have found some foods that he will eat eagerly. Along with Hagen high performance pellets and a little bit of vegetables, but he really loves beans noodles and rice mixture with cinnamon sticks that I found at mysafebirdstore. I love giving this to him at night after his last feeding he will eat almost a half a bowl he will not bring his head up out of the bowl until he has scraped it clean. Which I love because then sleeps on all those calories. The Dr. is happy too.
Unfortunately I also somehow caught his bacterial infection in my lungs and I've been down with pneumonia for 2 weeks. I'm very thankful to my other half who has been very helpful is cleaning cages and fresh water and food for the birds. So as you can imagine it's been very hard for me to spend the needed amount of time for Baby Bobby at the moment.
I really appreciate everyone who gave me ideas for feeding Bobby, and all the support that was offered here and as soon as I'm feeling better I'm sure I will be online more often, when I'm not spending time playing with my babies.
