Hello everyone, i joined this fab forum for some help, im looking for an hycinth macaw, but had no luck, can anyone shed some light or direct to webaite or breeders, i would much preciate the help.thanks
Have you checked birdbreeders.com? There are often hyacinths available on there. Alternatively you can go through a broker who has access to breeders for rarer species such as this.
Welcome, good luck with the search! They are magnificent and stunningly beautiful birds. Whatever you do, avoid scams with diligence, especially offers of fertile eggs for sale. One of the most prolific frauds we see on the forum.
B&G Macaw, Galah, 5 cockatiels, 50 billion and a half budgies. We breed and do rescue. Too many to list each individual's name and age etc, but they are each individuals and loved dearly.
Oh, have fun. I have a huge sft spot for hyacinths. I worked with one at the parrot shop for a few years. <3 I still have pictures of him and miss him muchly. He eventually got sold to a lovely woman who had drempt for years of having a hyacinth. A happy "ending" for all, tho everyone who worked at or shoped at the parrot shop was sad sad sad the day he left. They are such sweet birds. <3
