Hello, my name is John and I have a 5 month old Hahn's Macaw named Maria. I got her 5 days ago from a breeder and she is my first bird. So far things are going great and she started stepping up for me yesterday. I look foraward to learning more and participating. I will post pics soon.

Welcome to the Parrot Forums.

Rock had some great reading material there. Also look at the Good Bird books and magazines by Barbera Heidenreich. They are great ways to teach your bird using positive reinforcement.
