Hi! We are new to the site. We have a Sun Conure and an Male Eclectus.
The Sun's name is MAI TAI and the Eclectus is MR. MURPHY. Both are young birds so we are new to all of this so learning as we go. We live in Illinois. I am an ER nurse and my husband is a police officer. So... I'm sure we will be on asking many questions about our boys... I have had the sun since June and have spent TONS on toys so if anyone has a good website on how to do this yourself I am very much interested!! Thanks!!

Welcome to the forums! Questions are always welcome and I'm sure you've seen there are sections for your specific birds. There's lots of people here with lots of experience with all types.

As for toys check out MySafeBirdStore.com, they are a supporting vendor for the forums and many members (myself included) order from there. She's got great customer service, great prices, speedy delivery (depending on where you live), toys, cleaning products..just about *everything* including toy parts for replacing or making your own toys.

If you haven't done so already, show off some pictures of your flock!

Hi! I'm from Indiana, and I have a sun conure too. She loooooves shredding up old T-shirts and plastic disposable straws that have been cut into bouncy curls. I clump them together with a twist tie and a metal loop, and hang that from the cage top. She also loves dried papaya. Does yours have any favorite snacks?
