odd head bobbing

Hello! I am new to this all! For a couple of years I was looking in to buying a parrot, I decided on a blue crown. I just got my baby girl 4 days ago and she is 4 months old! We have a long time ahead of us .
Just a couple of minutes ago I had out of her cage and she was walking around my bed bobbing her head slowly up and down and making a small chirping sound. I am worried because I am a new parrot parent and would hate to see my little girl sick.
Does anyone have any ideas of this is normal and I'm overreacting if I should get her checked out or something?

Head bobbing is a pretty normal behavior. Especially in a young conure. My sun who is almost 6 months will still occasionally do the feeding bob if I grab his beak when wrestling. It can also be a attention thing especially if you always give her attention when she does the behavior. In a baby it could also be an I'm hungry thing. Sometimes its a territorial thing though it doesn't sound like she's doing the strut! And they have this one head bob thats just weird and no one seems quite sure of what it means.

Sooo it could be a lot of different things If she hasn't seen an avian vet yet I would recommend getting her an appointment! Just an overall check on her well being that way the vet has a starting point if she does get sick at any point Keep asking any questions about odd behavior! Any small thing can indicate a sickness and since they hide illness so well... the fact you watch her closely could be the thing that saves her if she ever does get sick

At that age she's still doing the begging behavior babies do! That will quit after awhile. But you should not encourage her when she's begging. You can give her treats or other food items but ignore her if she proceeds.

I am in the greensboro nc area. But I have been trying to feed her mashed broccoli and vegetables and her feces is a liquid with the actual poop being pellet like shape. Is this normal?

If he's eating a lot of fruits and veggies then it's pretty normal!

You don't promote it cause that's what he's gonna do every time he sees you.
