As far as tips, budgies love toys and I change out my budgies toys regularly so they don't get bored Mine also love fresh veggies, especially a leaf of kale hung in their cage.

They are so cute! <3 I have two budgies too!! It's difficult to tell the gender yet - as far as I know, if there is pure white around the nostrils it should be a girl, if they cere is just pink or bluish with no white it's a boy. This worked perfectly for my boys - the had pink cere with lighter (but not white) color around nostrils.
The front one on the left looks like a girl for me, and the right one like a boy, but I'm not sure.
