afternoon guys, I have had rescue parrots before raising 5 from birth after their nest was destroyed by kids in Jamaica but I'm home now and have been set up with another rescue Quaker not sure of sex but we call her Susie. In Jamaica we had kept 2 and shared the others with others and they preened each other the Quaker is an only child the question is how does she preen the back of her head? Hope you guys are having a good day out there here in Ga. it is overcast but not scheduled for rain. Thanks for any info you experts can offer. :greenyellow:

Parrots
Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
If the bird is an only child, and allows touching, you need to use your fingers to gently and carefully open pin feathers while scratching the bird's head.
