Hi all!

I'm Stephanie and I have just moved to Florida after living in NY for 31 years (my lifetime)! I love the warm weather down here!

My cockatiel, Lily was my best friend and confidant. She passed away the night before I moved and I have been devastated.

I've done a lot of resesrch during these past 5 months and have decided that a IRN would be a great choice. I know that they are out of season, but I am trying to find a reputable breeder who may have access. I am also open to adoption; however the bird would need to be tamed.

Would anybody be able to the assist in referrals? I sincerely appreciate it!

This is a great forum (I've been a lurker for years,)

Thanks so much,

Stephanie

Hi Stephanie and welcome.

Since you have recently lost a long time friend. I would broaden your search to allow for falling in love with (???).

I am to far North to be of any help regarding directing your search.

I strongly believe in rehoming. Take your time and be a little more open, you maybe surprised what life may bring your way.

Ooh wow, that's fantastic!

I live in West Palm Beach, but have no problem driving a few hours to meet a great companion! Where is she located? I happen to have off on Tuesdays
