1 blue crown conure, 3 cockatiels, 1 sun conure
Hello all,

I've been a member for I don't know how long, and have not been here in years. I am back !! We have a 22 yr old blue crown conure, a 13 yr old lutino pearl pied cockatiel, a 10 yr old white faced pearl cockatiel, a 9 month old lutino pearl cockatiel, and a 16 week old sun conure.

We had a 21 yr old sun conure named Sebastian and a 13 yr old sun conure named Sunni. They were in an outdoor cage, in a fenced in yard. Both died suddenly about a month ago. Unfortunately, my husband buried them while I was at work, so not able to do a necropsy.

I am still devastated over this loss. I could not imagine my life without a sun conure, and I found my beautiful sun conure baby, Sally. I have so many questions, and will be searching the forums looking for answers.

Please appreciate your feathered babies every day that you have them. They are a true blessing to us.

Thanks,

Michelle

Welcome to the forum. My condolences to your loss, and may they fly free over Rainbow Bridge. My cockatiel will be 14 this year!

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Welcome back, Michelle!! I too joined long ago, became dormant, but thankfully rejoined the community.

I am sorry you lost Sebastian and Sunni under uncertain circumstances. That their ages are disparate coupled with a sudden passing must be haunting. Please feel free to post an entry in the Bereavement Forum if it brings comfort.

Truly appreciate your sentiments that serve as a timely reminder of the precious nature of our fids.
