Hello everyone, it's a pleasure to be here. Found this forum a bit out of despair. We just lost our Maggie , an Indian Ringneck Parrot, due to very unfortunate events. Don't know if he's still alive, he was with us since youngest age, fed him, went with him to the hospital daily when a cat tried to catch him and made him bleed, but he survived, and now all of a sudden he is gone.
He had a beautiful, playful, yet stubborn character. I liked the challenge, and miss him so much, would like to welcome another Parrot or Macaw in our family.
Thing is, macaws are really big, and not sure if I can offer him or her all the attention required.
Was made aware of Eclectus, seem to be very fine birds, so my question to anyone here is, a bird not too big, who can be cuddled as well and brought up from young age, any suggestions?
BTW, I live in the tropics in Thailand, so the environment seems suitable for any parrot or macaw.
Thank you so much.
