New from Colorado!
Hello from our family and small flock from the Colorado Rocky Mountains! Wife and I are both avid animal lovers of all shapes and sizes, loving life with our family, weather they be human, furry, scaley or feathered!

Welcome to all of you! Hopefully, the snow has finally stopped out there for this year!

Snow is all gone, let's see, I'll start with the name list and species, we have branch and poppy, they are our cockatiels, then there is creek, fuzzburt, smidge, cooper, diamond, and dinkles for all our budgies, and just purchased and paid for a pair of indian ringnecks this morning, they will be biggie and dj. Pictures will be posted as soon as I learn the site a little better, and thank you for the warm welcomes!!

Re: New from Colorado!
Out of curiosity, where do you get your birds from?

Re: New from Colorado!
My lutino pearl pied cockatiel and the pair of ringneck parrots are all from "parrots and more" off of northern ave. In pueblo, two budgies from a petco in thornton, the other four budgies were from a breeder in canon city, and my whiteface cockatiel was from a small local shop, he is the oldest at 10 months, the rest are only a couple weeks past weaned except the ringnecks, they are 2 and 4 weeks old currently. I cannot reccomend parrots and more in pueblo enough, they are small, specialized in parrots, and in my opinion formed from what I've seen all over the state, they are among the cleanest, friendliest, most knowledgeable, and have some of the healthiest birds I've seen across the state, prices are better than most, even with most of his birds being hand raised and immediately tame upon going home. If you are ever in pueblo and haven't been there, I'd make the trip just for his store if you are in state, well worth it!

Re: New from Colorado!
I have heard great things about parrots and more and have been meaning to visit but it's a 2 hours drive for me so who knows. But he's had massive success with breeding and seems to be doing wonderful. Your birds are beautiful!
