New bird arrived!

Hello, it's been some time since I posted here! We finally got a new baby birb. His name is Eddie (Edgar) and he is so cute. While me and my family are a lot safer now around the new bird and they've encouraged me not to blame myself for Cosmo passing away, I AM STILL SO SCARED. Maybe I am overreacting rn but I wanted to post a few pics of him and ask -- are his feet too dark or is it just me??? Maybe I have freaked myself into it, but idk. Could the color be because of the yellow sided turquoise mutation?

(Okay now that I look at the pictures on my computer they look normal xd)

Anyways he is already very friendly and he's been sleeping on my shoulder and biting my shirt most of the day (he's tired from the trip🥹)

I'm so happy to have a bird again and I hope he feels our love soon and lives a long and happy life!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww congrats, @cosmothebirb, young Edgar is gorgeous!!! I fully understand the apprehension you feel getting a new baby, particularly after having lost a previous one, I feel that way too. You know, in my opinion the best thing you can do is get him wellness checked at the vet. It will help to ease your mind if he turns out to be 100% healthy, and even if some health issue is revealed you'll have caught it early and be able to get it sorted.

Thank u for the support! I will be taking him to the vet once he's comfortable and adapted here with us, and I will keep posting here with updates! I hope he stays with us for a looooong long time 🥰💗
