I'm sitting in my computer chair last night talking to Tyler before bed when I hear this scurrying. I assume it's a mouse because we live by the woods and have fields on 2 sides of our house but when I look down I don't see a mouse crawling from under my chair, I see a bunch of little brown buggy legs.
I'm like OH GOD NOT ROACHES when it crawls out a little more and I realize.. it's not a roach, It's my fiddler crab, Timmy!
He was making a beeline to the heat vent and certain death so I scooped him up and popped him back in the tank. I guess he was meeting a lady crab somewhere because his wife was left behind in the tank.
The two tiny openings in the plastic tank top were covered so Timmy won't be escaping again.
I just wonder what Tyler was saying when he watched the escape.
